Well, I might give it a shot since it's still early in the season. 36 windy miles today on the Sputnik fixie. Hey, I might even be able to hang in for a few miles, you never know. And if I'm OTB too quick, as long as I can find PRP, I'll be a happy camper. and pool.

Si senior. I will do my best to let you ground me into a rubbery paste. Thank you in advance for the beating I am about to receive.

Here was last nights ride. It was definitely tough for me. After all the base work I have done I need to start piling on the intensity now as I have no anaerobic reserves at all. Congrats to Aham who dropped my arse twice and I only got him once at the end. You are riding strong bud!

The big thing that concerns me is not the power drop off, because the times were about the same and the route was the same, the power should be similar. I had the wrong bike in the head unit (my tt bike) and the power number parameters are different. What bothers me is the leg power imbalance. In April I was 50% left 50% right. Last night I was 54% left, 46% right. My right leg is stronger. This isn't good. I'm pretty sure at this point my right knee is getting worse. It bothered me more skiing and hurts more frequently now. Looks like I see some surgery in my future. I'll probably try to hold out for the end of the season.

I realize this is a rhetorical question, as I've known you for a while, but seriously, why risk your whole season to prove yourself on a training ride in March?
Settle down, chill out, and let your body heal.

Unfortunately, torn meniscus of the knee (where mine is) has poor blood circulation and rarely heals on it's own, especially in old folks.
