1989 Centurion LeMans...

I have a 1989 Centurion LeMans, white with purple smoke, with all the original hardware. I bought it new when I was in graduate school....and became so busy, then marriage and moving around alot, children..that the poor thing ended up staying stored in our many garages year after year. After all these years, I prefer a slower paced bike to ride with my kids.... Needless to say the bike ended up hardly ridden. Except for the Avenir gel seat- looks good but no longer cushy, everything else looks great. No rust and it is very clean, like new. Would anyone know how much a bike like this may sell or trade for? I'm not having much luck googling this information up.

maybe try ebay or the classic & vintage forum. i think centurion frames are generally sought after and have a fair resale value. maybe $150-200, but i really have no idea.

I have the same bike.

I bought that exact same bike in that color new in 1989. I added an aerogel seat as well. Haven't ridden it much as drivers and roads not good for biking in my area and then had back issues. I recently converted the handlebars to a semi flat bar with an adjustable neck for a more up right riding position. I've seen good condition ones on Ebay for $200 and crap ones for $20. Mine is mint with original tires and brake pads always store indoors. I read posts where recent buyers really like the later years of this bike.

To expand on that suggestion, there is an active "what's it worth" thread in the C&V forum.
