I tried my LBS but he doesn't carry the brand and didn't want to do a minimum order. Tom at GVH has one coming, didn't even want a deposit. He just wrote my name down and said I have dibs.
Tom/GVH are the best. I had a similar experience buying SRAM stuff from him last summer. Don't even bother with the email, either. Just pick up the phone and give him a buzz.

I had a bad ebay experience with Ital Tecno. They sold me some shoes that were not as listed. Listed NOS when they were clearly used, and with mismatched/missing cleats and hardware.

They gave a full refund after I made some noise, but it was a hassle and it reflected badly on their business practices IMO.

Sounds like Tom at GVH is taking good care of you, so hopefully this is playing out well after all.

Alright, this is the last component and probably the last of anything for a while. The frame may or may not come until March. Damn foreigners, if this frame was made in the US, I would have it, well, in April.

Did I let the cat out of the bag about the frame? If not, let's make it interesting. The first correct guess of the frame AND size (I can't make it too easy) will win a six-pack of a fine malted beverage (think Spotted Cow, etc.) to be picked up at any BFNIC organized ride (that I attend ). So let the guessing commence.

The cranks.

Incorrect.

Italiano? Should be obvious.

Also, I'm going to need a make and model. Colnago, Cinelli, Pinarello, etc. are way too vague. You need to earn that beer people.

Pretty, but incorrect. Also, as a hint, it is not listed on Ital Tecno's or GVH's site. And I'm 6 feet tall.

Incorrect, to you and everyone else.

But, I will say there was someone who was very close, just not 100% correct. You people need to earn it.

Incorrect.

I want to trade my English BB cups for Italian to use on my current frame in case I never get the new frame. Since you brought it up, the new frame has a BB30. That should narrow it down a bit.

the frame is due to arrive on Friday!! w00t!

This is your last chance to guess and win a fine set of malted beverages. Make/model/size needed to win. Hint: You will need sunglasses to gaze upon its magnificence.
