Did my Northern Illinois ride
Visited family in Woodstock, the town I grew up in, and did a ride past my old fishing spot near Marengo. I have never ridden the area by bike and thought I came up with a pretty good route. Went south out of Woodstock on Dean St., turned west On Perkins Rd and took that all the way to its end at Millstream Rd, camped in the woods on that corner as a teen. Went south on Millstream to the bridge over the Kishwaukee River, a favorite fishing spot. Back tracked just a little to River Rd and went west , and took the first right after crossing State Highway 23. Continued north until I hit Kishwaukee Valley Rd. I turned back east at this point, but checking out the map after getting home, wished I would have gone west to county line road. Wondered my way back to Woodstock from there on roads I have traveled. Here is the link to my ride if anyone is interested.

Nice ride, I have some friends that live right by where you rode. How nice are the roads up there? Been thinking about making the trek out there to get some distance rides in if the roads are safe enough to on.
