Does any tyre maker have a better website for comparing its tyres than Schwalbe?

Everyone knows that Schwalbe make some of the best tyres that one can buy, especially tyres perfectly suited to hybrids of one sort or another, but do you realise how comprehensive their website is for information that allows you to compare one Schwalbe tyre against another?

Just as an example, from this Schwalbe website you can find out the following information.
  • Rolling Resistance Rating
  • Maximum Tyre Load Rating
  • Grip Rating for Wet Riding & Off Road Riding
  • Puncture Protection Rating & Sidewall Puncture Protection Rating
  • Service Life Rating
  • Recommended PSI Range
  • Tyre Weight

So by pouring through their website, you should be able to find the tyre from Schwalbe that will meet your needs best.

Now admittedly most manufacturers will give you tyre weight & recommended PSI range, but how easy or not, do they make it for you to compare the other items against tyres they sell?

Has anyone found any website delivering this extensive a breakdown of tyre characteristics, remotely comparable from any other tyre manufacturer?

Keep in mind the ratings on that site are just a little bit subjective since the source is the maker and not an impartial third party testing system.

Yeah but they are only rating against themselves, so you can find out which Schwalbe tyre will allow you to rack up heaps of miles and which Schwalbe tyre has the best sidewall protection and which Schwalbe tyre will grip well in the wet.

By using their website, it has allowed me to rule out certain of their tyres, thus it then comes down to what I see as Schwalbe's best offering for me, versus other manufacturer's offerings.

Yes, but according to their website, the EPI numbers given are for just one layer, so for a three layer tire you need to multiply the EPI number by three to compare with other makers.

Without a doubt, Schwalbe's site is the best, offers the most information, and is frequently used as reference.

Just wondering, did you try to use the word Tyre as much as possible to annoy us U.S. forum members?

Unfortunately Schwalbe has just made their website a little bit less informative than it was until recently.

Now instead of breaking up Puncture Protection to include a rating on Sidewalls, they just have an overall Puncture Protection rating, with no mention of the sidewall at all.

Also they appear to have created a new category they call "Serviceability", but I can't work out what that is meant to represent, as it is not a durability rating.
