Exclamation ~Which one?

So guys I've been doing some more research and I have came across this list of bikes that fit my budget and seem reasonable for me, what do you think will suit the best my rides? 16 year old who uses the bike to commute and to do some trails, high speed cycling, muddy and wierd dirt roads..
- Cube Aim SL - 570 euros
- Cube AIM PRO - 570 euros
- SCOTT ASPECT 760 - 550 euros
- SCOTT ASPECT 770 - 500 euros
- GT AVALANCHE SPORT - 500 euros
- SPECIALIZED CROSSTRAIL - 540 euros
- ROCKHOPPER 29" -550 euros
I haven't looked into KTM bikes, seen most of their local dealers do not have a website do you think I should visit them anyways?
Thanks for your help, Miguel

I have a 29er.

I wanted something faster, so I bought a GT Eightball I outfitted with 40 c tires.

Does the kind of riding you've described and with an IGH, it has a clean look.

29er MTB with hydraulic discs and decent enough drivetrain.
Sounds perfect for adventuresome 16 year old.

eastbay71 If you were in my shoes would you go for the gt? Even though it looks better and costs less 50-70 euros than the rockhopper the support and warranties might not be as good as the specialized one.
