Help please.
I'm trying to find out information about this bike, it was passed down to me to fix up and give to my daughter she's 9. I have found similar bikes mostly the 2008 timberline hybrid looks just like it but it's not it. The frame is 100% steel. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. ps I'm really really new so take it easy on me. I'm mostly interested in the year of the bike and seeing if upgrading some parts are worth the $$$ link of the bike is below (pic is from the net)

This may seem basic , but I would look the frame all over and see if there are any numbers stamped into it.
Generally near the bottom bracket area is usually where you will find it.
Just google search the number and that will get you started usually.
I did this on an older mountain bike (Murray) and found it was one of the last really terrible ATB models they made.
It was kinda fun though just knowing .....
