Yeah it would be easier to buy a 680mm or 685mm handlebar and cut it to size.
However I will give this handlebar a go, it has no riser though, so a pure flat bar.

Plus I find I need a decent amount of room for my light mount and computer mount and bell.

I think my long term handlebar will end up being a 660mm Jones H-Bar Loop.

Most all road racers have short bars, and probably all MTB bikes from the 90's back did as well. I know because I have several lol. Wide bars were obviously introduced for better control on singletrack but now it has become a fad, a fashion that has spread to our hybrid road roadies.
