First long ride on Insight 1

Went for my 1st long ride on my hybrid. Decided to supplement my road bike and mountain bike with a hybrid, a Diamondback Insight 1. Went in on it for a Xmas present.

First long ride on the hybrid today. Have some adjustments to make. Front derraileur cable slipped, would not shift into small chain ring. Love the saddle, Selle SMP Extra. Reflectors on the wheels are coming off ASAP, Clicking noise they made drove me nuts. Ready for the winds to die down, seems every time I get out it is always windy.

Why? Just curious what you think a hybrid would do for you that either your MTB or road bike can't.

It looks like a nice bike. Is it a triple or compact? Sometimes the spring on the FD get stuck. Spray a bit of WD-40 and work it back and forth. Other than the FD, how did you like it?

First, i wanted it as it was a great deal with Christmas deals.

A more upright riding position then my road bike for days when my lower back is bothering me and the road bike is to agressive for me. Better gearing for the hilly area i live at.

New bike itch bit me.

Road bike - Great in a pace line at 40 k's
MTB - Great bomb'in through the woods bouncing off of roots and rocks
Comfort/Hybrid - Almost everything else
