Treadwell 3
This is my first bike I’ve had since my teen years, looking for alternative to
running. So far I’ve rode about 300 miles on it in the past two months. Anyways I was wondering if there are mods people do to make the bike better overall? Dumb question I know but just getting into riding..
Tried to post a picture of it but I’m 8 post short

The Treadwell is a very cool looking bike, I would like to see one in person but no dealer around me has them in stock. Always lots of things people change. I know seats area always something people change, maybe suspension seat post, grips, pedals, handlebars and stems are just a few things. I started riding a few years back on pretty much rail trails and on the different bikes I have had I have changed different things. Seats I changed on all my bikes and the grips I changed on all my bikes. In the end it's all up to you for the feel from your bike your looking for and then make small changes to dial it in.

yeah I had to ride 2 hours to find one at a shop. It reminded me more of a bmx bike which I grew up riding so I bought it. I’m not a avid rider but I like exercise and the freedom to ride. Having fun so far, I’ve only changed the grips and now waiting on some new pedals

Sounds like you got the right bike for you. I changed grips on my bike and I did pedals, seat, post and I bought some stronger disc brake pads that will grip more and a new oil slick colored chain that I will put on once the weather gets a little warmer. I just keep messing around with my bike adding odds and ends to it just for fun. Weather's been really up and down in PS lately. Today it's in the mid 30's and actually snowing on and off with high winds. Hope the weather breaks soon.
but not sure what matches the one I have. It’s a kmc z7

A lot of the chains go by how many speeds your bike is or you would need to count the links in your chain and then you can order one with the same amount of links in it. I just got a different one because I wanted to be a little different. I was told two things when I got back into riding which I found to be 100% true........... If your bike isn't comfortable to you your not going to ride it and if you don't like the way it looks (Color or for what ever reason) you won't ride it. I read this on a post another member made 2 years ago and the more I thought about the more he was 100% correct.
