Metric Century ride today on my Sirrus 3.0 during the Birmingham Bicycle Club 50th Anniversary BBC 100 event in Ashville, AL. Rides of 25, 46, 64 or 102 miles were available. Good ride but them thar hills wore me out!

At the Start.

Along the Coosa River on the route.

Crossing over Interstate 59.

At the Finish.

Rode along the Kororoit Creek Trail today in Melbourne's west. Not sure how many miles I did - but it was a few - enough for my bum to get sore. Might have to invest in a pair of bike shorts at this rate.

Nothing exciting but I rode the OTET into Westerville to return books to the library. 6.75 miles round trip and a very easy ride. Now to find a nice rack that will play well with the SKS fenders.

Here's me doing a local MTB race last week on my Focus Crater Lake. Didn't go as well as planned, unfortunately - broke the chain after 3/4 of the distance

Rode to burger King yesterday evening to test out my new lights a total of 6.6 miles. Was really surprised that a whopper Jr meal is now over $8

what lights are you using ?

we use lights primarily for tunnels - and for rides when we return late (we often return at dusk - especially spring and fall rides)

mrs t2p uses a Knog Blinder - I often use a pair of Knog Plugs ; pictures above of the Blinder on her FX and Plugs on my Topstone

I bought this one, it has pretty good reviews, not sure how to post a link, or even if it's OK. I think for occasional night rides it'll be fine. Im not sure ofnbattery life. However I could always rig up one of my Makita batteries to charge it as I'm rolling via the USB adapter . It's pretty bright as you can see, sorrry

I don't remember which setting of the 3 this was....

I grew up poor, and spending a day at the flea market was always good times as you could often get stuff for pennies on the dollar over new.

I‘m a flea market guy - hit a flea market almost every weekend (often two times)

got the Topstone in the prev post / pic at a flea market

we actually ate Burger King on the way home from the ride on the day that picture was taken - finished the ride late and the area / local restaurant we planned to stop at after the ride was closed - so we stopped at a Burger King near an I-80 entrance ramp ... had not had Burger King in ages - and it hit the spot !

Not my hybrid, but today I used my Schwinn Al Comp as a shuttle between 2 jobs so I didn't have to wait for a ride back to my pickup truck. It was only a short distance of 2 miles

Bikepacking shakedown ride #2 yesterday on the Chief Ladiga Trail that runs from Anniston, AL to the AL/GA state line, where it becomes the Silver Comet Trail. I rode from Piedmont to Anniston, then back to Piedmont, 39 miles total. Perfect weather!

One of many former RR trestles on the trail

Getting close to the current end of the trail near Anniston

Trail end at Dr. Mike Tucker Park

Dr. Mike Tucker Park

It is a well maintained asphalt paved trail

Almost back to my starting point.
