Shimano CUES
It looks like Shimano has released a new line that can be very useful for hybrids: CUES, it's presented as "urban", but it covers the the "trekking" aspects as well. A problem I had with my hybrid was the 73mm bottom bracket shell: finding cranksets with large 1x or 2x chainrings was rather hard, but this new range solves that — and it's using the LinkGlide tech, that is supposedly more durable. I really like the 2x system: 46/32 front, 11/45 rear (11 speeds). It's very close to what I currently have on my hybrid, except that it's with XT levels specs and not by going "off spec".

I read about this stuff a couple of weeks ago and definitely looks interesting. I'm waiting for the youtube reviews to start showing up.
