Vintage Releigh C-30

Years ago I had a 90's Raleigh C-30 when bought it cheap had to fix some things and rode it many miles
I finally got to the point where I could buy better bikes , after I bought my Surlys I let a friend's daughter have it. I have missed that bike. I had been watching another one in very good shape on marketplace for a while. Finally made him an offer. I now have a C-30 again.
I took it for a short test ride today 😁 I made a few adjustments. This one is in way better condition than my original bike . Even got the owner manual and a 98 catalog

Nice find. Great color and looks like the original owner/s took good care of it.

That should be a great bike. Raleighs of that vintage were an outstanding value. My c. 2000 M-40 is still rock solid.

Since you have a rear-facing brake cable stop, you could easily convert to linear pull, should you care to do so.

Congrats and enjoy!
