Can't see much from the pixelated image from the non-drive side but knowing Nishiki these days it would be a beyond hard pass.

It is an expensive bike for what they are giving you. A box store bike with bottom end components from a brand that was never that great and now is at their lowest point. I would still skip it. You are approaching or in some cases at the bottom end of a bike store bike for that price which has warranties and support behind it and is built at a shop. I wouldn't pay the same amount to get less that just doesn't work for me at all.

Congrats on the new bike! Have you had a chance to get a few rides in yet? We're having terrific riding weather here in the Mid-Atlantic area and the forecast promises another nice week coming up.
