1999 Cannondale M300 SRB City/ Commuter
Just picked it up tonight, in MINT condition, came with a SKS frame pump, CATEYE Speedometer, Zefal water bottle cage, Performance Fanny Pack, Here is a link to the specs: https://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/B...+SRB&Type=bike
It is a 20" frame, and was not adjusted for me at the time of the picture. ( Perfect Fit Though )
Have to love Craigslist, just finished adjusting everthing but it is 12:45 AM LOL, Ready to take it for
a ride in the morning. Richard : )

Not really ! LOL But this one is in really MINT condition, High Gloss Black, specs. out nice for and older model. STX which is kind of like Deore. But this 1999 was the only year they listed it as a City/Commuter, and the MSRP jumped a 100.00 dollars or so. The 1998 was MTB and the 2000 MTB, ( last year in production I believe ). Think the first year may have been 1993 MTB also. The 1999 model might have been a test market on MTB's being good city/commuters, ( HYBRIDs ), could be fun to have a Thread going ( Interesting Facts on Hybrids ) just an ideal... But like they say in fishing ! ( This ones a keeper ) Richard : )

CL is a perfect place...I have a dillemma - $300 2002 Bad Boy with 4 wheels (MTB and road - disc brakes).
I have 4 bikes already and 1 of them 2009 Bad Boy...but no discs ...
Here is what I have:
300 is it a really good deal (?) ...can't say the condition based on one foto...

I don't know about the $300 for a 2002 bike. You'd have to imagine that it's had a fair past life. Hmmmm hard one. Does it have the devil graphics on it?
Also, how many gears? If your intention is to bring it up to current specs (9 / 10) speed, it'll cost a fair bit.
I have seen an old one here that looked very cool with drop bars.

Project Sirrus
So, I'm finally able to post some (crap; sorry best I could do) pictures of my bike:
Started life as a stock 2010 Sirrus Comp. What's left of the original: frame/fork (excluding headset), wheelset, seatpost/stem/bars/bar ends. As it stands now:
Headset: Spec. Mindset Pro (to get rid of crap bearings in stock)
Drivetrain: SRAM: Double Tap 10spd shifters; Apex f/r derailleurs; Apex crank/bb (50/34); Rival cassette (12-32) and chain; Dura Ace cables.
Brakeset: TRP CX9ti; Avid SD7 levers; XTR cables.
Saddle: Spec Avatar
Grips: Ergon
Tires: Conti GP4000s (25c)
Pedals: Shim. XT
Weight: as you see it, inc. pedals, 19.4 lbs (Park scale at LBS)
Looks great (to me), rides smoothly; quick and light.
Probably replace the wheelset this spring, and maybe seatpost/bars, but that's about it.

Haha... Nope, the seat's been moved up quite a bit and the Specialized feels so much better riding. Now switching some parts around so I can take the Specialized on a real ride.

When you say still needs a few adjustments, did you just pick it up ? The weather here is nasty also, and have the Cannondale M300 all ready to go, adjusted for me, CATEYE replaced battery and set it up correctly, nothing left to do but ride. Hurry up weather ! Richard : )
