As an old BMX'er that raced a SuperGoose back in the early 80's, I really dig the classic Mongoose frame sticker. Classy move.

I picked up my 2013 Fuji Absolute 2.1 today! Still stock components with a few additions (pump, saddlebag).

Cheers!

Thanks Dude, I thought it looked pretty classy as well. They made a lot of nice bikes before they became a walmart brand.

God damn, I just love looking at all these bikes.

I think that bikes and cats have a lot in common, in that I have never seen a bike or cat that I didn't like the look of.

How do you keep the chain on the chain ring? No issues?

Thanks for the info I often think about going single at the front, but worry about loosing the chain.

I'm almost 2 years now on 1x setup...and so far I had these combos of which all work without any problem (loosing the chain):

1x9, rear der. Deore M592 long cage, SS chainring FSA, Superstar Components chain guide...
1x9 rear der. Sram X7 mid cage, SS chainring FSA, Superstar Components chain guide...
1x10 rear der. Deore LX long cage, RaceFace NW chainring...
1x10 rear der. ZEE short cage, RaceFace NW chainring...

Absolutly loving simplicity od 1x drivetrain...

Take a look at the new wide/narrow chainrings that allow you to run a single ring without rollers or pie plates up front.

Well let me test you on that...lots of folks here don't like the mass merchant bikes, but I was glad to see the 90% support of the guy from MI who bought his 1st bike from Wally World. I'm still pleased with my Schwinn Trailway from Target. I've added a rack since the last update and it's still holding up well except this past w/e on the way to bike on a MUP my daughters car rack dropped down, dragging the pavement and the front tire & some of the aluminum rim got chewed up. I've been riding it a lot and I'm still happy with it though. I'm fully prepared to say you guys were right when I have major component failure, but so far so good. I enjoy my restored Fuji road bike too and ride it some, but the more upright hybrid set-up is just more comfortable. I'll probably want a Absolute when I wear out the Trailway.

Heh, I love racks on bikes and your shade of blue is gorgeous.

Also there is something nifty about getting heaps of usage out of a bike that doesn't cost the world, that anyone could have.
