I love it! '90s hybrids are so cool. What brand and size tires are on it. They look thick...38s or 40s?

Picked up a Schwinn Searcher Sport men's frame from NASHBAR a couple years ago, built it up and didn't like it.
I pulled it apart and used the components on this Schwinn Searcher GS frame I got off Ebay for my wife. It was just the frame, I found a matching fork that looks a lot better than the factory black fork.
Had the other frame collecting dust so I decided to give it another shot last Fall, turned out a lot better and now I love it. Since these were taken I switched to a SunTour fork with lockout and an FSA MegaEXO crankset and BB with Shimano platform/SPD pedals. I was going to upgrade derailleurs too but so far these are working exceptionally well.

Man, some people go overboard with accessories on their bikes.

I think it looks great! I like the trunk bag.
Does your top tube bag interfere with the rear brake cable any? I imagine your rear brake cable runs exposed for most of the length of that tube. Did you slide the velcro straps underneath the cable?

Thanks . I did not slide the strap under the cable, no interference.

i could not agree with this more. it's insane the amount of things people strap onto their bikes and where they strap them on etc. bags and bags and bags attached to every part of the frame, 6 things mounted onto the handle bars, etc... it makes me cringe but to each their own...

As for the top tube bags, Love them! I'd rather do that then wear a bicycle jersey with pockets.

2. I'd say it's the same as the high-end Sirrus far as speed goes. Never owned an FX so can't speak to it.

So this is my first post on these forums. Been lurking around for a bit. a few weeks ago picked up this jewel and what a pleasure to ride! I absolutely LOVE this bike. I will be cresting 100 miles on it this weekend.
