Looking for a hybrid bike for a friend
so I am on a mission looking for a hybrid bike for a friend. I don't ride a hybrid bike myself but that is what he's wanting to get. He wants to be able to commute with me, be able to put panniers, something less than 400 dollars (is that impossible to find?), and something not 'dorky' hah. I just rolled my eyes when he said that. I think he mentioned he doesn't want drop bars but he's never tried them before and something that isn't a 'city bike' or a single speed.
That's all I can recall from what he said to me last night. Suggestions?

Tell him to visit some local bike shop for a good fit.
Most shops will have a few hybrids at that price.
