Customizing Hybrids.
I recently bought a Giant cypress Hybrid, due to being on a budget.
I have tried researching it myself, but since I am new to cycling.. I do not fully understand all the parts and sizes.
What would I have to do to add different handlebars, possibly drop down handlebars, onto my bike?

To use drop down bars I'm pretty sure you're going to have to replace both the shifters and brake levers at the same time.
Why do you want to switch from flat bars to drop bars anyway?

I made the move to Butterfly Trekking bars and found them to be one of the best mods I did. They will also receive your current brake and shifter parts as well. Be careful spreading aluminum clamps though as they are kind of brittle. There are a lot of threads on the subject if you do a search. plenty of drop conversions as well as trekking bar conversions.
