I just got back from one of my typical late night rides and got some snaps.
If this guy stopped spinning his head like in the poltergeist movie it would have been clear. http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/DSCF2413.jpg http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/DSCF2414.jpg This is the Trans Australian railway it crosses the whole continent west to east. http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/a...s/DSCF2420.jpg This is the same line at the end of Googs track and 1000km from the last pic. I crossed approx 300 sand dunes to get here. http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/a...orrens/100.jpg |

I was meeting up with friends, so I laid my bike down on the non drive side, and it started to rain. It wasn't raining very hard, so I wasn't worried about my bike. A friend noticed the rain "shadow" and suggested I take a picture. Here it is:

He probably lost the crank bolt a while ago and didn't notice, and he just worked it off the bb spindle over time.

I think that's how it happened. Crank arm cracked in the process. Real bummer.

Check your other crank bolt with a torque wrench. Make sure it's tight. I assume you'll be replacing the crankarm. You can buy just a left crankarm.

I missed my regular Sunday ride to watch my other favorite bikes at the Australian Off Road Championships. I should have taken my MTB as it would have been easier getting around the 15km a lap course spectating "bad back"

I shot as many pictures of people riding bikes as I could in an hour, from my balcony, Sunday shortly before sunset.
There was about 1 bike every minute on average. Some were too quick to capture! http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...1&l=ad9259ec03 http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=269763 |
All shots are at a shaky hand held maximum 300mm zoom.

While riding through the city today I notice some more RC boat racing and couldn't resist some pic's.
I prefer and fly planes but anything with nitro motors is good viewing. http://imageshack.us/a/img440/1489/img0315h.png http://imageshack.us/a/img337/1899/img0316.png http://imageshack.us/a/img560/2185/img0320.png http://imageshack.us/a/img705/5360/img0325m.png Don't worry these guys weren't near the action. http://imageshack.us/a/img546/5997/img0332h.png |
Took the road bike today so no pic's of that. ;)
Bee Hive corner marks the very center of Adelaide. Only a few years ago the original bee fell off after being there more than a 100 years and was replaced. http://imageshack.us/a/img4/4721/img0802v.png Full moon at midnight last night. http://imageshack.us/a/img99/2843/img0783.png This guy stopped holding up traffic so I could get a pic front on then realized when getting home it was badly out of focus. http://imageshack.us/a/img208/6572/img0791.png |

General Lee moved down under?

The one I saw had the same nudge bar at the front but the interior was black.
This is the 1972 Australian Charger 100% made down under. http://i950.photobucket.com/albums/a...E49yellow2.jpg |
Seeing that Orange Charger brings back memories...said there were 320 used during the TV series. This is the very first jump of the very first "General Lee" Charger on the campus of Oxford College in Oxford, Georgia, for the very first episode of The Dukes of Hazzard TV series. The Charger spent the next 22 years in junkyard purgatory after its hard landing.
http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c..._fe_12_815.jpg It got restored and sold at an auction early this year for $110K to Pro Golfer Bubba Watson. http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...neral-Lee-.jpg Couple more of the many that flew! http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/c...lice-Cars-.jpg |
