Alright after shopping all day today, in two towns, I am as confused as ever. The 7.6FX was a smaller frame than I am comfortable. I am now down to deciding between the Trek 7.3FX and Specialist Sirrus Elite. I am leaning to the Sirrus as I really like the owner of the local shop and believe I can get better service there. I am still not as familiar with the Specialist name but enjoyed the ride today. I do worry a little about the narrower tires but I will see as I move forward. I just hope I feel the same as I wake up in the morning. I bought new shorts and tops today, so I should be set if I can just decide on which bike.

I'd also go for the Specialized Sirrus. It is a great bike. Better yet, if you like the shop, it's a win-win. Buying a bike means buying a relationship with the shop.

I can't tell you which one would be better for you. However, if I had to choose between those two for myself, it would be the Sirrus.
