I would highly suggest you consider the Secteur and Roubaix as well. You can get them with SRAM Apex for a lot less (Secteur) or a little more (Roubaix). I have a hybrid and a road bike. If you already have a road bike, are you sure you need a flatbar road bike? It's not really a hybrid other than having high spoke count wheels for durability.

Flatbars are fine for short rides and awesome on MTB trails. Dropbars offer tons more hand positions and thus significantly greater comfort on long rides.
