Here are the components to both bikes. Which is better? The Diamondback is cheaper.

I think that the diamond back is better in terms of components. Deore is better that acera, so full deore is good. The quality of the frame is good on treks, but I know nothing about the daimondback. Seems like the daimondback is better in both components and price.
The important thing I'd that you feel comfortable on the bike. The components are more or less the same, so either bike is a good choice. Good luck on your new bike
