Bikes: trek madone 6.2. Felt z5,Colnago master lite

Marin san rafael

I just got this today. its my first bike. i tried several in this range. i picked this one because the shop owner spent lots of time with me over 3 visits to fit me and let me try several. I liked the trek model 7.2,but that shop person seemed hurried and just wanted to sell me,without much fitting or fanfare. I plan to make a lifestyle commitment and i want a good shop!

Sweet bike! I liked the styling on those Marin frames. I'm guessing you got a pretty good deal on that one since it's a few years old.

I have a Marin Muirwoods 29er that I bought on clearance.

actually. i think i paid the going rate for this years model. It must have been new old stock on his sales floor.. I suppose i should have researched that before the sale. Honestly though...I feel like the service there is of such a caliber that its worth every penny. Travis Cycle in taunton ma.

Gotcha...good service is worth the cost. They be around to help you out with adjustments. You'll probably need some adjustments in the next month or two after initial break-in.

The fit is more important than the bike because an ill fitting bike is just discouraging. The shop I bought me bike from let me test three different sizes of the same bike before I picked one.
