Spring is here...
In a 6 mi trip out and back for some errands. Call a whambulance for me if you want but my ride ended up to be quite a hazard. I ran into the following:
A line of 5 bicyclists entering the sidewalk via wheelchair ramp to avoid automotive traffic by using a crowded sidewalk. No immediate harm to me, but can't figure out how a crowded sidewalk is any better than automotive traffic just because there isn't enough space to filter between traffic and parked vehicles.
One bicycle crossing in front of me, while I was overtaking him, to make a left turn from my right by utilizing the zebra crossing at the far side of the intersection when there was a left turn lane and no automobiles at the near side.
Two 4-wheel, 4 pax canopied cycle things going the wrong way along the right side of the street. These things were scary. No space to pass on the right and have to wait for opening in traffic to go left.
Three bicycles turning the wrong way into a one way street into me because I was on the left side of the street preparing to make a left turn.
Four riding abreast and two deep on a MUP effectively taking up the entire width of the MUP going around a blind corner.
About ten bicycles passing through a 4-way stop because the first one went through even though they were about 10-15 ft apart.

Cycling in Frisco is just crazy by anyone's standard. We've just got to suck it up and keep on rolling for now. We've just got to get some regulatory legislation on the books, that's more enforcible.
