Any hybrid fit this spec?

Hi all,

We're after a ladies bike with the following spec:

Hub gears
Rigid fork
Dropped top tube/Mixte style frame (NOT a step through)
Hub dynamo
Alloy frame, small (she's 5'1")
Light weight
avaiable in Europe
Does anyone make something that fits this spec, or are we going to have to get a shop to build something up?
The older Stevens City Flyer was her fave but some scrote stole it

Thanks
Simon and Anna

My wife is only 5' 0" and I couldn't find a mass produced "mixte" framed machine. Soma Fabrications makes a "BEAUTIFUL" mixte frameset but you'd have to do your own build up for a complete bike. Good hunting, let us know what you found!

neither of those has internal hub gears.

these are closer to what he asked for, but don't have the dynamo front hub

btw, true mixte frames are generally steel as the thin long diagonals would be too flimsy if they were alloy.

Pierce is right, here's what I'm thinking of when you say, "Mixte Frame" The the last bike he showed is what I'd call a "Womens Frame", then you go to the u-shaped "Step Thru" frames. The Raleigh sport-dlx-13 sure looks like a sweet machine, jmho.

I've never seen that Mixte design in anything but steel, and the OP did say aluminum/alloy.

FWIW, that Raleigh Detour City Sport DLX is /not/ marketed as a womans bike, rather its an "urban city/path" bike (whatever *that* means...). I think the styling of that sloped downtube is supposed to evoke 'cruiser' imagery, but it does have geometry somewhat like a Mixte. I didn't notice, but its got one of those awful 'boingy' seat posts, I'd get rid of that ASAP as they tend to wobble side to side, which I find very annoying. Its a Gates Carbon Belt drive, which means its nice and clean, and there's no chain oiling to worry about, but its also an $1100 bike, yeouch!

Nice! Let us know how she likes the Focus. My lower-end Focus is built very well, save for the cheap 8-speed drivetrain.
