Specialized Crossroads
I will be buying my first hybrid soon and of the locally available bikes my favorite is the Specialized Crossroads. Does anyone in the group own or have an opinion on the crossroads.
I am an overweight 65 yr old man looking to get back into cycling after 30 yrs. All of my riding will be on paved roads and streets.
All input is welcomed.

they are very nice bikes.
I ride a Specialized Globe Vienna, which is an 'off brand' variant on the similar Sirrus. My wife has a Expedition, which is a similar 26" bike, reconfigured as a 'comfort stepthrough'.

Im 65 & have worked off and on in bike shops over the past 30 years..
they are one of the many good brands made.. and sold thru a network of Dealers ..
The dealer you happen to shop with.. they are imported from a contract manmufacturere .
as is virtually the whole Bike Biz . brand is a contract written between a huge factory, and an Importer.
The service at the dealer matters more than the brands of bike they sell , in reality.
they will be there, to help you after the sale ,
a $500 bike = a $500 bike, they may even come from the same factory, though to a different importer..
Originally based in The SF Bay Area, corporation has grown to be sold around the world.
