Which would you choose?
Stopping by my local bike shop, I had a choice between the Giant Escape 3 and the 2014 Specialized Sirrus. The Giant is about a hundred dollars cheaper. I plan on commuting and going on long leisure rides. Help meee choose.

Ride both. I had to make the same call and I found that the Sirrus was more comfortable for me on longer rides. Will the shop let you take it for a longish test ride?

Yes, DEFINITELY ride both!! Most will find that the Giant (with its longer top tube) will stretch you out a bit more than the Sirrus which isn't bad, just different. The overall geometry, in general, is something that you will feel when you ride both bikes and one of them SHOULD come out the winner for you.

From yelp reviews it says they allow test rides but I'm not sure about the length of time. I'll be sure to ask.
