Was wondering that myself, so thanks for asking, and thanks for answering. Maybe I'll take my CF bike out this weekend then. It's suppose to be -1*C.

Bikes: 2012 Specialized Tarmac Apex Mid Compact, 2013 Specialized Sirrus Elite, 2007 Giant Boulder se

If you ride in any temperature below 5c it will explode into a massive fireball of carbon shards. You can then sit on the side of the road in agony and reflect on the poor decision you made

Of course cold winter weather affects carbon frames. Ride around long enough outside in winter weather and the bike will get cold. I suggest knitting it a scarf.

This is an excellent response. May I suggest, though, a minor but not trivial emendation: "explode" should read 'asplode'. That is the accepted BF verb.
