I've been riding Look Keo's on my road bike and these were recommended, for my Trek DS, by the LBS since I wanted to ride with clipless shoes and be able to jump on the bike with sneakers.

Good - bad - no opinion?

I chose the dual sided Shimano PD-M647 clipless pedal w/outer cage instead. Picked them up last year after I bought my bike. Just clip and go. No muss, no fuss.

I've got both the 530s and the 324s. I think the 324s are easier to use and look like normal pedals. The 530s are sexier, and function well. The 530s always set themselves clip side up, making the 324s a tad easier to ride away on in regular shoes, and flip them later.

They both work - your choice.

Like you I use Look Keo on my road bikes. I've had the A530's on 3 or 4 bikes now that I've used for city rides and errands and they work great.

When you ride with sneakers, is it a PITA when you take your feet off and the pedals rotate so the cleat side is up?

IMO dual style pedals are more trouble than they are worth.

That's what i'm afraid of.

If that is the reality, i'll replace them if needed.

One has to set a priority over the other. If you ride mostly non clipless, then it shouldn't be that much of an ordeal to simply flip sides. After all, you cans till pedal for a rotation or two even with the clipless side up. Right?

But, as I said earlier, it is MUCH easier to do that with the 324s.

I have expect to do 95% of my riding with clipless and and occasional ride with sneakers.

Also I expect to be on my road bike most of the time.

I have A530's on four of my bikes. I find that they come to rest more or less vertically, with the flat side to the front and the clip side to the rear, making it easy to choose the side you want to.
