Yeah predicted when they signed that deal and Wahoo closed down RGT.

I have to wonder what the market competition authorities make of this.

That's just my luck: I paid off my Affirm loan just a few months ago and now my Hub is an orphan.

Does it really matter as long as they support the warranty? I wouldn’t have thought so. Isn’t the Zwift Hub just a rebranded JetBlack Volt anyway?

Not a bright move, introducing a budget product into a fairly saturated market. Should've stuck with software.

I'm still hoping that they'll bring their virtual shifting via Plays over to Elite trainers (and hopefully down to the Direto and not keep it Justo-only like Elite did with "race mode"). Not having as much hope that Zwift will open the Plays up to other apps, but that would be awesome if they'd do that. That's a hardware expansion I'd like to see from Zwift - especially now that indieVelo has introduced "nudging".

So I remember when this story came out, everyone thought zwift was not going to sell trainers. From what I can tell, they are continuing to sell the hub 1.
I think the hub is the same hardware, just doesn't have the single gear.
It's on sale now.

It sounds like they're trying to sell out of their Hub One stock too and then will just sell the modifier for Wahoo trainers (and maybe, eventually, others). The fact that they keep promising that they'll support the Zwift Hub One for its working life makes me wonder how long that will be and definitely makes me think they're not making anymore.
