Checking in from Little Ol' Rhode Island
Heyo all,
Figured I'd checking and do the obligatory into post. Have been looking to get into road cycling for health benefits (former swimmer who loathes running) and also hope of doing to sprint triathlons to keep myself in somewhat of decent shape. Only real bicycle experience was as a kid and on mountain bikes (never down a mountain thought) but have been reading up and try and figure everything out. Started out and grabbed a trainer so I could at least start getting my legs in shape and I just made the plunge finally buying my first road bike.
As this weather gets nicer I hope to hit some local paths (East Bay) and get some time behind the handlebars.
