Bikes: 26" single speed basic Walmart special (in Florida), Specialized Crosstrail Comp Disc (at home)

Hello from Canada, eh?

I have to maintain the stereotype, eh? Actually on a more serious note, I'm a retired married male and we live in Orillia, Ontario, Can - a small city a couple of hours north of Toronto in the midst of gorgeous lakes and bike paths. It's been many years since I biked on a regular basis. That is except for the past couple of winters spent in Florida when I found myself quite enjoying the single speed Walmart special that I bought used for $30.00. This has re-ignited the flame so to speak and since returning home at the beginning of April I've been doing some internet research, window shopping, forum lurking, LBS visiting and consulting with friends who bike. Then after some procrastinating, yesterday I ordered a Specialized Crosstrail. I feel like a kid with a new bike. I hope to have it within the next couple of days and anxious to get riding. I'm really impressed with the knowledge inside these forums and the professionalism of the posters. I'm sure I can benefit from some of that knowledge and hope in time to possibly make a contribution. Glad to be here.
