Hello from Houston!
Just joined this forum. I am 53 years old and was surprised when I discovered last summer that I can keep up with my young nephew and his friends on long rides. I ride a Linus Classic Roadster which I like for the simplicity and style and also have a Jamis DXT Sport that I bought for trails. I blog about biking and have challenged myself to get out more - anywhere there's a park with decent trails. I'm not a MAMIL but do not make fun of ANYBODY I see riding or jogging on the streets and trails. If you're outside doing something good for your health instead of wasting away clutching a cell phone I don't care what you look like. So far the trails have been friendly - that sentiment seems to be reciprocated.

Welcome to Bikeforums from a fellow Houston biker. I am mostly a road biker. What is your blog? I have a website (see my signature below) covering Texas bicycling news, events and experiences. Keep active and enjoy biking. Try the roads for variety.
