Hello from Central New Jersey
Just a quick note of introduction. Fifty seven year old rider getting back on the bike after years of off time. I was running until a year ago or so, and now find that my back and hips don't seem to be cooperating and riding has (so far) been much more agreeable to both!! I have been lurking on this site some, picking up tips and advice and assume that I will continue to mainly do so in the future, as I don't have much experience to share.
I'll be riding when I can (mid week mornings mostly) around Western Monmouth county; a popular riding area, if the number of group rides I've seen is any indication. Give a wave to the FOG (fat old guy
) you see riding the bright red Bianchi near Allentown!!

Welcome to Bike Forums. Stop by the 50+ forum and say hello to the other old timers. I'm 70 and hang out there a lot.

Thanks, been looking there already. I like the fact that so many sub forum issues are addressed, but it does make it obvious how diverse cycling is in both the type and community it covers. :hug
