Greetings From Eugene Oregon
Hey all. I am a student/military veteran at the University of Oregon. Just recently bought myself a Schwinn Ranger MTB at target and within a week realize I had made a mistake. It was obvious the assembler didn't care much. my heart was set on a road bike and I had bought a MTB. So today I went to an actually bike shop, Simple Cycle in Eugene OR (thanks Matty) and bought my,first ever road bike. Its a single speed but hey, I'm military, I don't take the easy route. I am super satisfied with the bike. I can rest assured I bought it from a reputable dealer which even allowed me to ride the bike first. I even get a free 30, 60, and 90 day tune up. I am super happy with the purchase. My wife convinced me to buy it even though it was above my budget. Dont you guys wish you had that problem: you try to budget personal purchases and your wife convinces you to spend more. Anyhow, hello. I am happy to finally be on a bicycle.

Hey Manny! Sounds cool, I'm sure you'll enjoy the road bike you got. A lot of folks love single speed bikes. And another thing, having a MTB on the side DOES come-in handy from time to time..
