Hi from Rapid City, South Dakota

Hello everyone. I discovered this forum while researching my options for converting one of my bikes to an e-bike. I have a Cannondale Optimo and a Bike E recumbent. I was a bike messenger in NYC for 5 years in the late 80s and have maintained a love affair with bicycles since then. I'm looking forward to being a regular on here and sharing stories as well as picking up a few tips.

Cool! I was in a band in Sioux Falls in the 80s for about 6 months. It was called Flat Cat and we played at the Pomp Room a lot.

Holy cow, I remember Flat Cat! IIRC I think you guys frequently played out at Dakota Territory as well.

I was too young to go to bars in the 80s (barely) but got into the band scene in the 90s.

Awesome! That was a lot of fun. Wow you really have (or have had) a bunch of bikes!

Six at the moment, but I'm going to sell the Panasonic in the spring. Probably should sell another couple too, but haven't yet brought myself to give them up. Three of them get ridden quite regularly. The other three, not so much.
