Bikes: Haibike SDURO Trekking RC

I started to commute by electric bike to work last October primarily for fitness but also for ecological reasons.
I purchased a new Haibike SDURO Trekking RC with Yamaha middle motor. Distance to work is 16.5km/10.3mi one way and has a steep hill on the way. It takes me 45 minutes. The electric bike is just perfect for this topography and it doesn't exhaust me too much.
After a little crash on an icy road in November
, I equipped the bike with spiked tires. They give me a safe feeling even on thick ice plates
. For the notebook and spare clothes I purchased panniers from Ortlieb. With merino wool and Goretex clothing I should be ready for all weather situations. I try to commute by bike at least two times a week especially on days when I can stay in the office. Since October I covered a distance of 1500 km or 930mi. It sums up quite quickly.
