Hello! My name's Carla and I'm super new to cylcing. I'm a 23 year old, Midwest native. I aspire to one day bike cross country when the opportunity becomes financially, physically and time viable. I recently purchased a Liv Flourish 1 predominantly for urban use (I don't own a car and plan to use it as my main mode of transportation). With the advice of my local bike shop I made the purchase and couldn't be happier. Being a broke college student makes biking more difficult, but I'm currently looking into comfy seat covers, lights and a decent lock for my next few purchases.
Overall, I'm super excited about this new activity and can't wait to explore the forum a bit more.

Welcome to Bike Forums. A seat cover won't make the saddle more comfortable. Try different saddles.

welcome to the forums...ditch the seat cover idea...give yourself a few weeks to get used to the saddle and if it does not get bearable, check out different seats.
