I joined the bike forum all of 2 years ago to ask some questions about my then new (used) bike...now I'm back with more miles and more questions.

I just moved down to the bay area for some post-college work experience (not very exciting, but I guess thats the name of the game) and I've been having a great time taking advantage of the incredible weather (compared to the pacific northwest). The east bay has been great to me, but I'm still exploring. Any route suggestions are more than welcome.

I ride a mid 80s miyata (commute and weekend rides) that I will be asking more questions about later. Still trying to get some pictures so i can get some more info on the bike.

Glad to be back, taking advantage of all the friendly, generous people on the board. I am consistently impressed by the knowledge present here.
