Hello from east central Illinois
Decided to get back into cycling. I'm 57 and a runner, 5K, 10K and now training for a 13.1. I wanted to expand my cross training and well, what better way! I didn't want an all out racing setup, but something a bit more comfortable. I settled on a Specialized Roubaix SL4 Sport. Wow, things have progressed since my last steel bike, a Benotto 2000. Love the carbon frame and how it rides. Most of my miles will be on country roads, blacktop and chip and seal. Looking forward to many miles on it.

welcome to the forums... great bike, I almost bought one of the Roubaix back when I finally decided on my Domane 5.2...
I do like some aspects of steel bikes though... I still have an Aerocomp that I upgraded and love playing on it.

That's a sharp looking bike. Just a wee bit above my budget though. I really liked the way my Benotto rode. Aluminum at the time was way too stiff and cf was way too expensive and not reliable.
