My nickname is Zinger. From Buffalo. I recently bought a recumbent trike and love it. I have been trying to promote my new hobby by promoting trails local to me. Here is an example

Are there any other trails not too far from me that I should check out?

Welcome to Bike Forums. The local folks in the Northeast regional subforum can tell you where to find trails.

Wow. That's genuine. Whats fun about a welcome and a warning? No thanks.

not sure what warning you are talking about. There was no intended warning in what I said and I can not imagine why anyone would not want to have fun. Either I do not understand your statement or I can not get what you took offense to.

Of course I want to have fun. lol when a forum super moderator says "Welcome - Keep it fun" it sounds like a warning. Saying "have fun" or "lets have fun" would be better. So right away I get the feeling you'll be sending me warning messages that my posts are not good enough or fun for you.

Sorry - The impenetrable society of forums has ruined me. I have had so many problems with forums and all the nit-picky rules that they have. Redd it is not friendly. Bent rider online has you jump through hoops just to post a picture or a link. This was the last place for me to go. I want to share my content, and comment when I have something meaningful to say.

So if I am welcome, great!

Have Fun !!
We have a recumbent forum: Recumbent - Bike Forums

Also, consider putting your location in your profile, so down the road other members will know where you are, which might help with connections or other useful info

oh, ok, I can see that... well then... have fun. The forum rules we have here, you got a good look at when you singed on the user agreement. Our rules are intended to keep it fun for everybody... we react to spam and folks insulting or harassing other folks... and we try to keep it clean.... we have a special section of the forum that one has to be admitted to where there is more of the let it all hang out area, but the general forums are for riders of all types and ages to have fun in... to share ideas, opinions, and experiences...and none of the mods or admin here will nitpick you...like any forum we have a few old grouches, but most folks are here to enjoy themselves.
