Hi, just call me staple. Recently started riding a Specialized Crossroads Sport hybrid. Started with something cheap, just in case it wound up sitting in the garage gathering dust. That hasn't been the case so far. With my husband (also new at this), I've done several 15-20 mile rides so far, and am hoping to double that distance before summer is out.

So far, we're both enjoying this way more than we anticipated, which is great because (as foodies, film buffs, and music lovers) we need the exercise! I've already learned a lot lurking on these forums, and hope to learn a lot more, since we're already thinking about what our next bikes will be. They're not in the budget until next season, but by then, we will hopefully know what will suit the type of riding we want to do.
