Howdy from Auckland NZ

Howdy folks, my name is Jared and I am an avid cyclist of both road and mtb.
I have always been into riding road bikes but in 2008 I decided to give mountain biking a shot and have been hooked ever since.

In Februrary this year I did a 7 day tour from Auckland to Waihi Beach, Te Aroha and the Thames Coast areas (535km on an Avanti Montari towing a small trailer) which has got me hooked to explore more of my stunning country as well as setting up a bike packing rig to head to some more remote locations.

Enjoy the ride and keep it shiny side up

Welcome to Bike Forums. Nice looking bikes and great story.
You might like visiting the Australia-New Zealand subforum and also the Touring forum (farther down the page).
Have fun.
