Good evening!

Hello all,

New to this forum as well as cycling in general. I of course had a bike as a kid, but just bought my first bike as an adult. I just got a Felt Verza Speed 50, been on two rides so far and look forward to many more, and probably stalking around these forums for tips and tricks.

Happy roads/trails to all!

Yes Welcome. Nice bike, great color match with the black. Did you have it fitted to you? Seat height and all that?

Excellent, That makes all the difference, fit, tire pressure, get those right and you can ride all day. At least until your bum starts to ache

Just south of Wisconsin outside Chicago area. So far ridden about 35 miles of mainly gravelish paths longest single ride was 22 miles. Some of them are paved but most are the crushed gravel. Had to be on some roads for transition to next bike path.

Tire pressure still needs to be tweaked I felt pretty good on my longest ride of 22 miles so far but I'm still learning how it should and does feel for longer rides.

It's nothing crazy, I actually had to walk up a hill cause I was slipping on my back tire quite a bit. Not sure if I need a different type of tire?
