Central PA - Hi!
Hello all! New rider here. I just started commuting to work a couple of weeks ago and I've been bit by the bug. Looking forward to learning stuff!

Welcome from a PSU alumni.
I have fond memories of the giant ride down the mountain coming back from Stone Valley. You could hit speeds of 55 MPH and pass cars. Almost melted a pair of brake shoes on that decent. We learned to brake early and often to avoid the heat. The entire rim sides were black with melted residue from the shoes.
Fall in Happy Valley is great riding, but watch for slippery falling leaves.
