Breitie from Brisbane, Australia

Hello fellow two-wheelers. Actually, I am a male of 'mature age' (77) and after a lifetime of riding two wheelers, motor as well as pedal, have graduated to an 'adult trike', a lovely and very practical SCHWINN MERIDIAN to which I have fitted a STURMEY ARCHER SRC5 (W) hub and a DILLENGER electric front wheel. I now tear around the neighbourhood and scare the pedestrians. In this town we are allowed to ride on the sidewalk, which suits me well, as I have the choice of road, bike-lane and sidewalk, depending on how fast I want to travel. I hope that riding a 'trike' as opposed to a 'bike' does not disqualify me from participating in this wonderful forum. Happy riding!

Welcome. Check out the 50+ forum here. There’s often some discussion about trikes going on.
