Greetings from the Blue Ridge Mountains

Hi road riders. I'm looking for anyone who would like to ride the back roads of the blue ridge mts around Boone, NC.
I'm doing a couple hundred miles a week, ride a carbon Trek and would love some company.

Have you thought about riding next to long distance truckers? Couple hundred miles a week in the Blue Ridge Mountains? I don't even want to thing about that. But then, all I know of the Blue Ridge Mountains is in a John Denver song.

Welcome.

Hi and I'm envious as all get out. I'll trade you your blue ridge mountains for my ocean but just for a little while.

There are no shortages of climbs and lonesome country roads for sure, but I bet riding at the shore has its share of wonderful moments.

Welcome to BikeForums Jimmy.

I have lots of fond memories of Blowing Rock and Boone. Would love to live there!

I live about 25 miles north of Boone and ride to Blowing Rock often. The Blue Ridge Parkway viaduct to Grandfather mountain is a favorite.
cheers....keep riding,
Jimmy
