Hey guys. I'm just another newbie from philadlephia. I came across this forum about a week ago and have been reading up. I couldn't believe how great this forum is. Anyway I hope to contribute to this forum and have a good time. Right now i am riding a new Mercier Aquila. I ride about 120 miles a week. I really have no idea of my aveage mph. I just got back into riding after quite a few years off, this is my first with a road bike. When I was younger I did some bmx racing. Well I'm sure that's enough about me. Where'd you buy that Mercier? Was it a shop in the area? I've been wanting to get a look at the Serpens, which looks like a bargain (steel frame, carbon fork, full Ultegra for under $1200).

Hi Rich. Good to hear from you. I actually bought it offline at bikesdirect.com. A friend of mine had one in a 58cm. I tried it out once and it was a perfect fit. I looked around at some LBS, but none of them carried it.
