Texas rider
Hi all,
I have been riding bikes of course since I was small. A few months ago, I ran over my own entry level Fuji Nevada from over a decade ago. I did not take very good care of it!
after realizing it is basically trash I got myself a shiny new Kent roadtech from Walmart. I know this isn't recommended but I need a bike to take back to college with me and any reasonably nice bike there will stand out like a lightly secured Tesla to thieves there. It also helps that it didn't break the bank.
riding it around, I found out I really like the road bike setup. I've already put 50 miles on it in a few weeks. I'm looking forward to saving up for a nicer ride when my situation permits already too. I really like the speed I can get out of it compared to my old mountain bike I had.

If it does the job, that's all that counts. Welcome.
